What is a Model number?
This number helps tell the different models apart in a company’s lineup of devices or appliances. When multiple devices or appliances share a model number, it means they’re essentially the same type of model.
What is a Serial number?
Commonly abbreviated as S/N, this number is a special hardware ID assigned by a company to each of its produced devices or appliances. It serves the purpose of linking a product to its respective customer, enabling the company to maintain ownership records. It’s important to note that only the original producer of the product utilises this identification number.
Front Load Washing Machine
For Front Load Washing Machines, the Model and Serial numbers are usually printed around the front door, otherwise, they will be printed at the back of the appliance.
Top Loading Washing Machine
For Top-load washing machines, the Model and Serial number are printed at the back of the appliance.
